Public Policy Scholars - Call for Applications are now closed

The Hindu Centre for Politics and Public Policy, an independent think-tank located in Chennai, India, is offering four Public Policy Scholarships for a period of 12-16 weeks. Research proposals are invited on a variety of themes concerned with public policy, governance and the functioning of political and democratic institutions.

The scholarships are open to scholars, practitioners and bureaucrats in the fields of political science, public policy, law, and other disciplines. We welcome applications that have cross-disciplinary approaches to their research as well.

The Hindu Centre will provide scholars with a stipend of Rs. 50,000 per month, office space, free accommodation in Chennai and a research grant of Rs. 30,000 for conducting fieldwork. The scholars will be based primarily in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
