The National Statistical Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Statistics and & Programme Implementation (MoSPI), in August 2024, released the 25th edition of its publication, Women and Men in India, covering the year, 2023. The publication “offers a comprehensive overview of the status of women and men in India, incorporating data on key socio-economic indicators for both women and men. It consolidates information from various sources, providing a centralized resource”.
