Voters in 91 parliamentary constituencies in 11 States and three Union Territories cast their votes on April 10, the third day of the nine-day election in India. Polls have closed in Kerala, which has 20 constituencies, Haryana (10) and the National capital of Delhi (7). In addition, 10 constituencies each in Uttar Pradesh (which has a total of 80 seats), Maharashtra (48), and Odisha (21), nine in Madhya Pradesh (29), and six in Bihar (40) also went to polls. A total of 1,419 candidates are contesting from these 91 seats. With today’s election, the process has been completed in 103 constituencies. India has a total of 543 Lok Sabha constituencies.
